"Older men… urge the younger men…" (Titus 2:2, 6)

Mens-StudyEggs, bacon, and Bibles… these are the three main ingredients that will always be on the menu at every Saturday morning Men's Breakfast & Bible Study. Our pastors gather the men every Saturday to review the Scripture texts that will be preached and taught on the next Sunday. Our hope in doing this is that our men will be sharing these verses with their wives (Ephesians 5:25-27) and their children (Deuteronomy 6:6-9) throughout the week, to prepare the hearts of their family for the next Sunday Service. This vocation-driven Bible study is like iron sharpening iron.

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)

We take these words to heart as our model for Men's Ministry…

"But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness… Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us." (Titus 2:1-2, 6-8)
